Sarah Burnham
Researcher
Role
Sarah Burnham began as a postdoctoral fellow at CIRCLE, working on projects in K-12 civic development and education, before being promoted to Researcher.
She received her Ph.D. from Suffolk University in Applied Developmental Psychology; her dissertation focused on social media literacy and anti-oppressive attitudes among young adults. Burnham also holds an M.A. in Forensic Psychology from Roger Williams University. Throughout her work in developmental science and civic engagement, and her work as a scholar-activist, she is guided by the question “How do we empower young people to build the world they want to live in?”
