Greg Weatherford II is the Youth Empowerment Program Officer at The Allstate Foundation. In this role, he leads Allstate’s national philanthropic efforts to empower youth to succeed and lead. This mission is personal to Greg: at the age of 12, he created his first nonprofit to provide youth with knowledge, funding, and other resources to create their own service projects based on their passions. This initial experience led Greg on several paths, including developing special projects for municipalities and universities and building his own for-profit companies. He co-authored the book "Better Together: How 30 Days of Service Changed My Life" to encourage people of all ages (but especially youth) to serve their communities.
