Marilyn López is a Program Officer at the Bezos Family Foundation in Seattle, WA, where she champions grants and programs that create culturally responsive, inquiry-based civic learning environments and youth leadership opportunities. Her work focuses on empowering adolescents, particularly youth of color and those living in rural areas, as active participants in their education and agents of change. With over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, she has been deeply committed to the holistic development of young people, collaborating closely with families and educators to address academic, social-emotional, and career needs. Marilyn is a proud alumna of The University of Texas at Austin and holds a Master of Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University. Outside of work, she finds joy in running, exploring trails with her budding environmentalist 7-year-old daughter, and diving into compelling memoirs.
