Role

Adam is a Research Impact Fellow at CIRCLE, where he focuses on communications and field-building strategies that for systems, practitioners, and stakeholders on research-informed best practices that promote more equitable civic education and engagement. He develops and implements CIRCLE’s social media strategies. Adam also led our Expanding the Electorate grantee initiative that partnered with three of Opportunity Youth United’s youth-led community action teams to collaborate with their local election administrators to improve voter access for opportunity youth by addressing systematic barriers and challenges to participating. Professional Experience
Adam Strong was formally a Civic Engagement Liaison at Opportunity Youth United where he provided campaign strategy support for their three California youth-led Community Action Teams’ 2018 Midterm Voter Mobilization Campaigns. He is also a founding member of the National Council of Young Leaders and co-founder of Opportunity Youth United, where he works to advise funders and policymakers on the needs, barriers, and potential of Opportunity Youth.
Interests

Adam is particularly interested in research that highlights promising practices for building equal access to civic opportunities and how those activities can strengthen economic mobility. He is also interested in research related to early childhood development of civic skills.
